Windows 7 introduced us to a new slick application (previously a widget) called Sticky Notes. This tool is a must have for those who are constantly taking & writing notes throughout the working day. Especially the ability to colour code items! Tip: Place the Sticky Notes application in your startup folder. |

| Move your POP mail to the Cloud |

For those of you who are using POP mail either hosted by PCtechnix or elsewhere, you can setup your Gmail to collect POP mail on your behalf. You can also have Gmail send mail out by default from the POP account you choose. Essentially, this means you can migrate your POP mail to Gmail. Why do this? Lots of reasons such as... Your mails will be stored in the cloud. Easy to use and intuitive webmail client. Smartphone friendly. App friendly, Spam protection and so on.... |

| Microsoft Outlook - For Follow Up |

The Follow Up option is by far my favourite feature in Microsoft Outlook. When an email arrives that requires attention you can flag it for follow up. The email remains in your "For Follow Up" folder until it has been actioned accordingly. |
