Email Viruses

Similar to the UPS mail doing the rounds, there are new variations starting to surface. They include Facebook, Twitter and Hallmark to name a few. Delete these mails immediately if you receive them. The only real alternative here is to purchase some commercial anti-virus software which stands a better chance of automatically stripping the mail of its attachments.

UPS Virus - Another Warning!

UPS Virus

We mentioned this virus in our last newsletter but felt the need to communicate it again. Ordinarily most viruses can be removed with removal tools and appropriate software. The downside with this virus and its variants is that the repair process can take a considerable amount of time. If you receive an email from UPS regarding an undelivered parcel please delete the email immediately. Do not open the attachment as it will instantly infect your pc leaving it virtually unusable.
